EBRU
Ebru is a dentist trained at Marmara University School of Dentistry in Turkey. She operated her own dental office for over five years while getting intense education in orthodontics for two years. Growing up in Europe, she is multilingual which helped her be able to offer her dental skills to the international community in Istanbul. She was planning to become an orthodontist in Turkey, but life had other plans for her. She met the love of her life : Mr.Gage of Los Angeles,CA. After moving to Los Angeles she volunteered at a program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCLA and worked as an orthodontic assistant at a private practice in Santa Monica, CA. She is the proud mother of a very busy 3 year old boy . Ebru spends her little spare time to create unique gift items for her online business. Going back to dental school and eventually becoming a licensed dentist in the US seems to be in her future plans. Meanwhile she is more than happy to be a member of Dr. Hwang's fabulous team.
BEVERLY
Beverly traveled quite extensively before joining us back in Southern California. She lived in wonderful places like Hawaii, Japan and Virginia. What an exciting adventure! Her son Freddy, 24, is her computer expert and is working for Best Buy in Virginia. Her daughter Courtney, 21, is a student at James Madison University and hopes to become a translator or explore a career in diplomacy. Beverly is now back home in sunny Southern Cal. She is currently restoring her childhood home which was built in 1948. Now that her children are grown her Golden Doodle dog, Chuck, is her baby. Beverly’s free time is filled with friends, movies, music, computers and photography. Beverly is thrilled to be working in such a happy and fun office with Dr. Hwang and her team.
KAREN
Karen has been a long time resident of Arcadia, going to Arcadia schools herself, along with watching her two daughters graduate from Arcadia High School. For the last eighteen years, Karen has enjoyed keeping the front office running smoothly, along with assisting chairside with patients. Besides helping to create more beautiful smiles than she can count, her favorite part of her orthodontic experience is the many wonderful friends that she has made along the way. Karen enjoys traveling, photography, and spending as much time with her family as possible. She and her husband Michael recently moved to the foothills of Monrovia, and are enjoying remodeling their new home, raising their new labrador puppy Jake, and learning to live with the local wildlife!
